Have you made any recent changes in your system or QuickBooks? If yes, then probably that would be stopping your QuickBooks not to open. Other reasons why your QuickBooks will not open are the damaged or corrupted company files, an application might have already been opened in a multi-user network, you are using a wrong method to open the company files or QuickBooks, or the QuickBooks version is outdated. Sometimes, using a long company name can also cause lead to QuickBooks won’t open issue. However, the problem resolves using some simple fixes, and some of them are given below.
1. The first solution is to close the QBW32.exe files. You can do it from your Windows operating system by right-clicking on the Windows taskbar and then click start task manager. Click the processes tab, click the image name header to minimize the process. Now you can locate and select QBW32.exe and then click end process.
2. Another solution is to suppress the QuickBooks desktop application. You might have to take help from QuickBooks experts to follow the solution.
3. Sometimes restarting your desktop can also eliminate minor technical glitches that were causing your QuickBooks not to open.
